I have been taking photographs for 25 years, most of this time working as a freelance photographer based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Before starting up my own business I worked in newspapers, ending as chief photographer on the then-daily paper, The Christchurch Star.

My work has taken me around the world with assignments in Australia, the Pacific, the UK and in 2007, covering the Cricket World Cup in the Caribbean.

 

Recent awards include winning two awards at the Qantas Media Awards in 2006, Photographer of the Year and Best Breaking News Photo.

 

Also, I was a finalist for Best Sport Picture at the 2008 Qantas Awards with this photo.

 

In 1991 I also won Single Best Photo.

 

 

My main focus is commercial and editorial photography (with a little sport thrown in for fun), working for a variety of clients based in New Zealand and overseas. I use the latest Canon digital camera equipment in association with the MacBook Pro laptop from Apple.

 

The majority of my work is on location but I do have a studio in central Christchurch for portraits and product photography.

My clients include Reuters, New Zealand Herald, Rabobank, Shell NZ, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Convergence Communications, AMI, Harvey Cameron Advertising, Tait Electronics, Orion, TIME Magazine, ACP Magazines, Durning PR and various other publications and companies based in New Zealand and internationally.

 

 Audio slideshows are another way of presenting your message. They are a mix of still images and audio, another ideal way to present your companys history for example.
